About the author:
Hi, I'm Viola Bornmann, a Singer, Vocal Coach, Estill Master Trainer, and Certified Systemic Coach. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Music, Pedagogy, and Psychology and have been singing and coaching for over a decade. I have been writing and performing my own music, singing in theater plays and events, and hosting vocal workshops and teambuilding events for companies. As the founder of 'You Got This,' I support individuals in developing a unique and authentic voice – both inside and outside.
The reason I wanted to create this Diary is to address the struggles we often face with practicing. Practicing is not always something we just know how to do, but it's definitely something we can learn. If we do it consistently, it becomes a habit. We don't have to question it anymore; we just do it. Getting into a routine and flow will help to reveal results more quickly, making it easier for you to notice and celebrate the progress in your voice.
I want you to enjoy your vocal practice as something that feels great rather than something "you have to do". And I hope this Diary can help you plant the right seeds for that.
